About
Austin has experienced significant economic growth and change. At the same time, businesses, workers, entrepreneurs, and communities are navigating new challenges related to affordability, workforce needs, infrastructure, access to opportunity, and a rapidly changing economy.
In response, the City is recalibrating its approach to economic development to create a more coordinated strategy that supports economic opportunity while reflecting Austin’s values and long-term needs.
